When Traveling - Always Wear Protection

Travel is something many people wish to accomplish sometime in their life. See the world, visit far off places, explore. An often wanted, and thankfully often reached goal. Unfortunately, the world is a dangerous place. There have been many instances where tourists have been taken advantage of, attacked, and sometimes even killed. This holds true for American tourists, and the rest of the worlds travelers as well. Danger rears its head to all people in all walks of life, and thankfully with a little planning in advance most unfortunate occurrences can be avoided.

Know the layout. Always do research on your current destination. Know the hazards, whether they be from your fellow man, the elements, or local creatures. One can never plan to much or be too informed. This will eliminate many issues tourists come across in their travels, and could potentially save lives.

Properly equip. Once you know your destination and its hazards, plan accordingly, taking any possible outcome into consideration. A few examples would include: If the area is prone to extreme weather (Storms, landslide, etc) pack some emergency supplies. First Aid kits, flashlights, emergency provisions, the works. If there is a human threat, for example the Philippines; a place where much of the crime is knife related (Seriously, 80-90% of crimes are committed with knives), be prepared with some self-defense tools such as a personal defense weapon (Kubaton and taser are popular favorites), or personal armor. Kevlar and other standard body armors are too cumbersome, and often will not make it past customs, however the option of Bulletproof Clothing( Garments that function as normal civilian clothing, but in fact conceal armor that can match knives and even high powered gunfire) is an effective and smart choice. Stay clear of dangerous zones. The best form of safety one can practice is one of abstinence. If you are aware that a certain location is particularly dangerous for whatever reason, stay away! This world is full of wonders, but I can assure you that not a single one of them is worth risking ones life over!

With the inclusion of being properly informed and well-equipped, one can fully enjoy fulfilling their dreams of world travel with a sense of confidence and safety, thus maximizing ones experience and enjoyment. Just remember, when traveling, always wear protection!
