Easter is just around the corner and all you can think about is how adorable your kids will look in their matching Easter outfits. Meanwhile, your kids can´t stop thinking about all the candy and money they´ll find during their Easter egg hunt! Planning an Easter party that both kids and adults will enjoy isn´t the easiest feat, but it can be done! The following are a few tips, tricks and ideas to help you plan a special Easter party that your guests will be sure to not forget.

* The Menu - Adults and kids alike appreciate delicious food! While menu planning to please both crowds can sometimes be a tricky accomplishment, it isn´t impossible! When your guests arrive, it´s nice to have a little something to snack on while the kids run around and the adults socialize. Plan to have a few tables of easy finger foods and fun drinks setup for your guests to enjoy. A sample appetizer table might include: fruit kabobs, a variety of sliced breads, artichoke dip, pita and hummus, croissant sandwiches, a vegetable platter, chips and salsa, etc.

* The Decorations - Cross your fingers for good weather on Easter weekend, because nothing is lovelier than a garden party to celebrate such a special occasion. Flowers are a beautiful way to bring color into the decor - you can plant flowers throughout the backyard (a more permanent solution) or purchase a few bouquets of cut flowers for the tables. Put your kids´ creativity and energy to good use by having them dye eggs to use as decoration - take their dyed eggs and arrange them in glass bowls or vases and place them on the tables with greenery and fresh flowers. You might even check online for cheap party supplies to add a touch of fun to the kids table.

* The Festivities - No Easter party is complete without an Easter egg hunt. Take a headcount beforehand to make sure you stuff plenty of eggs for all the kids in attendance! Get creative with what you put inside - candy, stickers, erasers, money, gift certificates, etc. And DON´T hide the eggs until a few minutes before the hunt, or you´ll have a few kids who can´t keep them hands off until it´s time to search!

* The Easter Candy - Most kids (and adults alike) don´t like to eat just one type of candy, so be sure to go with a variety of treats, including the marshmallow peeps, Cadbury eggs, Reese´s peanut butter cups, and of course jellybeans. If some kids don´t like certain kinds of candy, then they can trade with others.
